Statement Of Faith

The statement of faith of the NTA is in keeping with the historical evangelical faith of the Church and all its member institutions are expected to affirm the same.

We Belive In

We believe that the canonical books of Holy Scripture are the inspired and infallible Word of God, the perfect revelation of God’s will for the salvation of people. The books of the Bible are the only supreme authority in all matters of the Christian faith and life.

We believe in the one God of the Creator, absolutely perfect and eternally existing in three persons: the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.

We believe that Jesus Christ is the true God and true man. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He died on the cross, offering Himself as a sacrifice for our sins. He rose from the dead, ascended to heaven and sat on the right hand of the Father, being our High Priest and Advocate.

We believe that the Holy Spirit glorifies the Lord Jesus Christ, convicts people of sin, revives them to a new life, abides in them, fulfills them by force for godly life and service.

We believe that man was created in the image of God, but fell into sin and died spiritually. He can be reborn for salvation and spiritual life only through the action of the Holy Spirit and the Word of God.

We believe that the blood shed by Jesus Christ and His resurrection is the only basis for the salvation of all people. Repented of their sins and believing in Jesus Christ as Lord, they are born of the Holy Spirit and become the children of God.

We believe that Water Baptism and the Lord’s Supper are the commandments of the Lord, observed by the Church. However, without saving faith, they do not provide salvation.

We believe that the true Church consists of people of all times and all peoples, revived by the Holy Spirit through faith in Jesus Christ and united in the Body of Christ.

We believe that Jesus Christ is our Lord and Head of the Church and that every local church is under His guidance.

We believe in the second coming of Jesus Christ, who will appear for the admiration of the Church and the judgment of the living and the dead.

We believe in the bodily resurrection from the dead: for believers, to glory, eternal bliss and joy; for unbelievers – for condemnation and eternal stay in torment.

We believe in the need to fulfill the great commission of our Lord Jesus Christ – Matt. 28.19-20
